These press-ready, water-based primers are designed for flexographic or gravure applications, and optimize most film and paper substrates. They are very stable in liquid form. Coated substrates have a shelf life of 12 months or more, and will not yellow or show degradation of print quality or adhesion.

The improved evolution of DPI8000, DPI8001 features higher solids and lower viscosity. This enables easier runnability across most equipment and improved coat weight efficiency. Rely on smoother operations and optimized coverage. Provides excellent adhesion of HP ElectroInk to uncoated, mottled, semi-gloss, and glossy paper grades and improves the rub resistance of Indigo ink without yellowing over time.
DigiPrime® Icon 8001 can be applied via flexo, gravure coating system. The recommended applied coat weight is 0.6-0.9 gsm dry.
