To get an insider’s edge on the many benefits of these thermal laminators, we spoke to Jonathan Smith, Managing Director of Cellcoat. Here are highlights of Smith’s answers during our discussion.
What’s the big takeaway on watching a T14 demo at our Labelexpo booth?
“Cellcoat has managed to make a complicated process simple. Come and see it for yourself!”
What can a converter learn from talking to a Cellcoat representative about T-Series Thermal Laminators at our Labelexpo booth?
“You’ll learn about sustainable product packaging solutions available to you today. Got a tricky project? Come and talk to our creative innovators to overcome your process challenges.”
Why choose Cellcoat?
“We offer technically advanced solutions requiring less operator intervention. Therefore, only a short training period is required. Our modular system enables you to choose only the necessary components for your application, tailoring your laminator machine specifically to your needs. You’ll also receive global technical support, minimizing downtime.”
What differentiates Cellcoat from other manufacturers of thermal laminators?
“Our thermal laminators offer a very short web path at 2 meters (8 feet). This minimizes waste in particular expensive digital print. The compact footprint is ideal for digital print converters. Also, 30-years of experience are packed into every laminator machine, leading to a fine-tuned end product. They’re designed and built in Britain by technical experts who are accessible globally. Plus, they’re easy to operate, even remote access for any diagnosis. Just hit two green buttons to start the laminator machine.”
What’s the most significant positive change that T-Series can bring to a converter business?
“A relatively small investment that can give you access to a 65 billion-dollar US flexible packaging market. If you’re looking to diversify from labels into flexible packaging, Cellcoat T-Series is your door to efficient lamination solutions.”
Please explain your maintenance and service plan offered to customers outside of the UK and elaborate on maintaining the unit at the customer level as opposed to requiring OEM support.
“Our technical helpline is available 24/7 with remote engineer access. Most preventative maintenance tasks are part of the installation training program for all members. Designed as a maintenance-free solution, electrical and programming issues are dealt with remotely.”
Making the right choice of quality equipment means investing in efficiency and quality. Along with thermal laminators, S-OneLP also offers HP Indigo modifications and CatPak™ System eBeam digital embellishment units. Our S-OneLP team helps ensure you invest in the right equipment to meet your needs and improve your workflow.
