Primers and Coatings

KK9805 is a special effect tactile aqueous coating for application to paper and paperboard with litho in-line coaters and flexo presses that are equipped with chambered doctor blade anilox systems. Typical applications include commercial, folding carton and specialty printing work where a “Soft-Feel” matte finish is desired.

KK9250 is formulated as a water-based primer for application to paper, BOPP and other plastic and synthetic substrates and provides stain resistance while being print receptive.

KK810 is formulated as a high gloss UV coating with great submersion water resistance when applied over hybrid or UV inks on select plastic stocks. KK810 may be evaluated for additional chemical resistance properties as well.

KK812 is formulated as a matte UV coating with great submersion water resistance when applied over hybrid or UV inks on select plastic stocks.

DigiPrime®, used by many digital press owners around the world because of its ability to improve ink receptivity, rub resistance, and image quality on most types of paper, plastic, and film, also provides improved productivity and efficiency for digital printing on both commercial and labels and packaging presses.

DigiGuard® water-based overprint varnishes protect and enhance the appearance of printed materials. Various grades are available for commercial print jobs; form, fill and seal packaging; and food contact applications.

Primers explicitly designed for use on HP Indigo equipment with an in-line priming applicator to impart a print-receptive surface to most substrates, and improve the ink transfer and adhesion of HP Indigo ElectroInk.
