Primers and Coatings

Primers explicitly designed for use on HP Indigo equipment with an in-line priming applicator to impart a print-receptive surface to most substrates, and improve the ink transfer and adhesion of HP Indigo ElectroInk.

CATPAKOPVG is formulated as a general purpose, high gloss EB coating for application over digital ink like HP Indigo. May also be used as a general purpose gloss coating over dry flexo or offset ink for broader use across a pressroom.

CATPAKOPVM is a general purpose matte EB coating specifically formulated for use over select toner based inks and energy curable inks to be applied in-line or off-line via anilox coaters. Typical applications include flexible packaging and labels; clear, opaque and metalized films, where a matte finish is desired.

CATPAK-NG is formulated as a Nestle compliant, high gloss EB coating for application over digital ink like HP Indigo. May also be used as a general purpose gloss coating over dry flexo or offset ink for broader use across a pressroom. Typical applications include flexible packaging and labels; clear, opaque and metalized films.
